$ADA Retesting 0.17 by EOM?

Considering the daily range, and the general sentiment around alts picking up slightly, I'd put the odds of $ADA retesting the 0.17 level by month-end at about 60%. We've seen it brush against that mark already today, and if $BTC can hold its ground, a gentle upward drift seems plausible. The current support looks to be holding around 0.166 quite well for now.

On Kalshi and the inherent value of 'no skin in the game' predictions

Been thinking a lot about the utility of prediction markets like Kalshi, especially when the contracts are tied to pretty fundamental economic shifts. I've heard some argue that because the stakes are relatively low compared to, say, actual forex positions in $MXNJPY or $TRY, the 'predictions' don't carry the same weight as actions by market participants with significant capital at risk. For example, someone might bet on $ADA moving up to 0.170 knowing their potential loss is capped to a small contract fee, which is a vastly different psychological game than holding a large spot position at its current 0.169. My take is that this 'lower stakes' environment can actually foster more objective, less emotionally-driven analysis, as participants aren't paralyzed by the fear of substantial capital loss. They're freer to assess the pure probabilities. I know that's a bit contrarian to the 'put your money where your mouth is' mentality, but isn't there something to be said for clarity unclouded by fear? Push back on this, I'm genuinely interested in other perspectives.

New here - My experience with chasing price in crypto

Evening everyone, just joined the forum. Been trading for about eight years now, mostly FX and commodities, but dipped my toes into crypto over the past few years with varying degrees of success, or lack thereof.

One of the hardest lessons I learned early on in crypto, specifically during the last major bull run, was the futility of chasing price. I had a few decent initial entries on coins like $ADA and $SOL, but sold them prematurely on a small profit, convinced they couldn't go much higher. Then, as they kept grinding up, the FOMO would set in hard. I'd then re-enter at significantly higher levels, often after a parabolic move, only to watch them retrace sharply, leaving me holding the bag. It wasn't just about losing capital; it was the opportunity cost and the mental drain of constantly being whipsawed. I was essentially buying someone else's exit liquidity. I think the key takeaway for me was realizing that if I missed the initial move, it's often better to just wait for the next setup, or accept that it wasn't my trade, rather than trying to force an entry into an already extended move. Much easier said than done, of course, especially with the velocity of crypto markets.
