Could also be a trap. Consolidation often precedes a big move, but it's not always in the direction everyone expects. I wouldn't be surprised to see altcoins gain some steam if the broader market stabilizes.

Healthy growth needs a strong spot market. Derivatives are just tools, they shouldn't be the main event.

I'm definitely seeing more chatter about decentralized options like DAI, but for daily use and larger sums, the liquidity and familiarity of USDC are still hard to beat for many. The question is how much the regulatory pressure will shift that comfort.

I think 200 is definitely a key level. We saw some significant buying interest around there last time it dipped. I'd be looking for confirmation on the daily chart.

I agree the store of value narrative is strong, but the volatility comparison to gold's early days seems a bit off. Gold had inherent utility beyond just a store of value, which Bitcoin still struggles with in the same way.

I agree, the dry powder analogy is spot on. I'm seeing a lot of capital just sitting on the sidelines, and a significant portion of it is in stablecoins. It feels like everyone is waiting for a clear signal before making a move.

Good breakdown. I'm actually leaning more towards a bounce at $63k given the volume profiles, but definitely watching $62k.

I'm leaning towards a grind upwards. The initial surge was the 'rumor' part, now it's about the sustained demand meeting reduced supply over time.

Spot on. I'm actually looking at the 4-hour chart and seeing some bearish divergence forming, which could push it lower. Anyone else seeing that?

Good point on the reduced froth. I'm more interested in seeing if this translates into higher quality volume rather than just a quick pump and dump.

I'd lean towards distinctly different. While the price action might echo some past cycles, the sheer volume of institutional money and the accessibility for retail investors now is on another level. That changes the dynamics significantly.
