On European market correlation and 'smart money' in the DAX
I've noticed what feels like an increasingly tight correlation between $DAX and other major European indices lately, even on intraday moves. It makes me wonder, when folks talk about 'smart money' positioning in the DAX, how much of that is truly unique to the German market versus just reflecting broader Eurozone sentiment or even global risk-on/off? Are we looking for distinct DAX tells, or is it more about the overall European tide?

The DAX has always had a strong correlation with other European indices. The 'smart money' in the DAX is often just reflecting overall European economic health, not necessarily some isolated German alpha. Are you looking at specific sector divergences?
