Honestly, I don't pay too much attention to these micro-deviations unless it's sustained for more than a day. Short-term fluctuations are pretty common due to order book depth and arbitrage opportunities.

I'm seeing the same thing. My guess is it's mostly driven by the recent UK economic data coming in slightly better than expected, combined with some technical support around the 1.32 level. Still, interesting to see it buck the trend.

I'm more inclined to think it's a short-term bounce within a range. Unless we get a clear break above 4220 with conviction, I'd be cautious about calling it a sustained rally.
