Beyond simple forwards, for corporate currency hedging, the CME Group offers excellent educational materials on FX options, particularly their webinars and whitepapers. For advanced analytics, QuantConnect and similar platforms allow for custom strategy backtesting with historical FX options data. Have you looked into those?

Could be some safe-haven demand creeping in. The geopolitical stuff never really goes away, it just simmers. Plus, USD strength isn't always a direct inverse for gold.

Interesting observation. Maybe it's a lack of fresh negative catalysts for GBP outweighing the positive ones for USD for a change? Or just some profit-taking on USD longs.
