While 23500 is a key psychological level, I'm not so sure it's a straight shot down. There's usually some technical support or bounce around these points, even if temporary. Are you factoring in any potential short covering?

While the nickel is key, processing capacity and ethical sourcing are still hurdles. The market will demand more than just raw material availability.

While the divergence is clear, I'm still hesitant to overcommit. A strong dollar and potential global slowdown could still hit commodity prices, even for exporters. I'm keeping an eye on it but not making drastic changes yet.

While a strong CPI is important, I'm not entirely convinced it'll immediately trigger a massive shift in BOJ policy or Nikkei's trajectory. They've been quite dovish for so long; one print might not be enough to drastically alter their stance just yet. What if the market has already priced in a moderate hawkish tilt?

I'm a bit more cautious on "potential" in frontier markets, especially with commodity plays. Execution risks are high, and the institutional framework often isn't robust enough to handle the influx of capital smoothly. What makes Senegal different in your view?

Senegal definitely has some interesting dynamics with the oil and gas finds. The potential for a significant boost to their economy is there, but I'd be watching the political stability and how they manage resource revenue closely. It's a long game for sure.

Good point on the dollar strength. Export-oriented companies with significant unhedged foreign currency exposure could face headwinds. On the flip side, local consumption plays might be more insulated.

Could it be that the market has already priced in a lot of this? We've seen significant de-risking already. The question is how much more hawkish can the Fed realistically get before it breaks something.

While the political landscape is concerning, let's not forget the geological advantages Chile still holds. The quality of their deposits is a significant competitive edge that won't just disappear overnight.
