KYB/Onboarding Friction and Broker Choices for Prop Firm Payouts
Hey everyone,
I've been grinding through a few prop firm evaluations lately, and I'm starting to get to the point where I'm thinking more seriously about the actual payout process. It struck me that while a lot of the discussion here focuses on the eval itself, there's less talk about the backend infrastructure once you pass.
Specifically, I'm curious about the KYC/KYB hurdles when it comes to getting paid out by various prop firms. Are there particular brokers or payment service providers they favor that streamline this? Or is it generally a painful process with a lot of back-and-forth, regardless of the firm? I'm trying to gauge potential friction points beyond just the trading itself. For those who've been through it, did you notice significant differences in payout reliability or the ease of the compliance checks depending on which prop firm you passed with? Any insights on how to mitigate potential delays here would be super helpful.
This is a great point. I've found that some prop firms make the KYC/KYB process much smoother than others, and it definitely impacts how quickly you can access payouts.
