KYB/Onboarding Friction with Payouts
Been thinking a lot lately about the disconnect between the speed of getting funded by some of these prop firms and the actual payout process. The initial challenge phase and even the funding itself can be relatively quick, but then you hit the Know Your Business (KYB) and anti-money laundering (AML) checks for payouts, and things can really slow down.
My question is, are others experiencing significant friction here? Especially for those operating as an individual trader but potentially scaling to where the payouts start looking 'institutional' to a payment processor. It seems some firms have smoother integrations with their payment partners than others. This isn't about specific brand bashing, but rather about the underlying infrastructure. Are we seeing a move towards more streamlined, blockchain-based payout solutions, or are we still stuck in the traditional banking quagmire, which wasn't really designed for high-frequency, relatively small (in the grand scheme) payouts to individuals worldwide? Curious about others' experiences and if anyone has found a firm that genuinely nails the backend payout efficiency.
