Onboarding Pain Points & Payout Delays with Prop Firms – Anyone Else Experiencing This?

Hey everyone,

I've been grinding away trying to pass a few challenges lately and one thing that keeps coming up, which is a real drag, is the whole onboarding process and then the payout reliability once you actually hit your target. It seems like every firm has a slightly different KYC/AML hurdle, and sometimes what seems straightforward on paper becomes a multi-day email chain with document rejections for obscure reasons. Is it just me, or are some of these firms making it unnecessarily difficult to get fully verified, even when you've got all your ducks in a row?

Beyond that, for those who have been through the payout process, how consistent are the withdrawal times? I'm seeing some anecdotal reports of significant delays, sometimes weeks, even after the trading period concludes and the profit split is agreed upon. Obviously, no one expects instant gratification, but when you're managing capital that's not technically yours, reliable and timely access to your portion is critical for planning and trust. Are certain types of payment processors or specific firms generally better or worse in your experience when it comes to timely payouts? It'd be great to hear some unbiased insights on the operational side of things, specifically around friction in the onboarding/KYB process and actual payout turnaround.
