WTI's path to $85 by month-end: my take

I'm giving WTI about a 60% chance of touching $85 by month-end, assuming we don't get any major surprises out of the next EIA report or a significant shift in the broader risk sentiment.
Demand looks solid enough, and while $CORN and other commodities are seeing some pullback, crude has a different beast entirely with geopolitical factors still in play.

I'm with you on demand, but I think the broader risk sentiment is a bigger wild card than the EIA report. A significant market correction could easily drag crude down.

60% chance, eh? That sounds an awful lot like a coin flip with extra steps. Given the track record of 'no major surprises,' I'm already bracing for a plot twist from the EIA that throws a wrench in the works.
