Watching CADUSD after the latest oil inventory data, mixed signals

Been keeping a close eye on $CADUSD today, especially after the latest EIA crude oil inventory report came out. We saw a draw, which typically provides some tailwind for the Canadian dollar given its strong correlation with oil prices, yet the move feels somewhat muted. We're currently seeing it around $0.7263, which is a decent bump from the open but not quite the robust reaction one might expect.

I'm curious if others are seeing this as a sign of broader USD strength perhaps capping CAD's upside, or if there's an underlying concern about global demand that's preventing a more significant push. The range today for $CADUSD has been pretty tight, from $0.7249 to $0.7278. This kind of price action, even with a seemingly positive catalyst for CAD, makes me question the conviction behind any immediate moves. Also have $EURCHF on the watchlist, currently at $0.93588, not seeing much correlation with the CAD moves, as expected, but interesting to monitor given its own tight trading today.
