Purely fundamental for the macro direction, but I've found some success incorporating relative strength indicators on the spread itself to time entries. It's not perfect, but it's an edge I'm working to refine.

I'd be wary of the counterparty risk with CFDs, especially with smaller brokers. Something to consider if you're holding a substantial hedge.
