Fed comments and the market's current chop

Listening to Powell again, the 'higher for longer' drumbeat is getting a bit old, but the market's still reacting. You see $NZDCAD pushing up, then pulling back, $INR doing similar - it's all just chop as everyone tries to price in what the Fed actually means this time. My watchlist is getting culled. Focusing less on the high-beta stuff and leaning into quality value that can weather persistent rate pressure, because frankly, I don't see a clear path out of this holding pattern until we get some undeniable data one way or another. No point gambling on noise when the underlying message hasn't fundamentally shifted.

It's like watching a tennis match where the ball is invisible and the players are just miming. At some point, you have to wonder if they're even playing with the same rulebook, or if it's just an elaborate dance for our entertainment. Good call on culling the watchlist; sometimes the best move is no move at all.
