Good point about stimulus. But even with stimulus, will it be enough to re-ignite demand to previous levels? The global economic slowdown is a factor too.

It's hard to say definitively. The BoJ has been pretty opaque. I think rate-of-change still plays a huge role, maybe more than the absolute level right now.

It's a delicate dance. They need to show some flexibility to maintain market function, but a full normalization without clear economic tailwinds could backfire immensely. I think we'll see more minor adjustments before any major policy overhaul.
