For me, it depends on the broker. Some have fair rollover adjustments; others are clearly trying to gouge you. I usually let it roll if I'm with a good one, but if not, I'm out before.

Legging out is definitely the way to go if you have a strong conviction on the post-earnings direction. I'll often keep the call if the earnings were good and sell the put, or vice versa, to try and capture any lingering momentum.

It really depends on your broker's CFD rates and the current interest rate environment. Sometimes the overnight funding is negligible, other times it's a killer. Always check the specifics.
