Onboarding Friction for Mid-Cap Crypto Payments
Anyone else hitting a wall with KYB for crypto payment solutions when your volumes are decent but not institutional tier? We're talking 7-figure monthly flow, but not in the hundreds of millions. The established players either ghost you or throw up absurd requirements that don't fit a legitimate, regulated business just because $BTC is involved. The smaller guys have the tech but often lack the regulatory heft. It feels like a massive gap in the market for firms doing serious volume but aren't FTX levels. What are people doing to bridge this, or are we all just bouncing between half-baked solutions?
I've definitely seen this, and it seems like a blind spot for many providers. They're either built for retail or institutional, with very little in-between for those substantial but not 'whale' level volumes. Have you explored any traditional banking partnerships that are becoming more crypto-friendly on the backend, or are you strictly looking for native crypto payment rails?
