The Pitfall of Premature Profit-Taking on Polymarket

I've been in this game long enough to know better, but my recent mistake on Polymarket, selling out of a highly confident 'Will X happen' market early, still stings. I had a strong conviction, the odds were moving in my favour, but I saw a small profit and took it, only to watch the probability skyrocket another 20 points after I exited, leaving significant money on the table. It's a classic case of not letting your winners run, amplified by the binary nature of these markets. Sometimes, patience truly is a virtue, even when your gut is screaming 'secure the bag!'
