Interesting to see how crude is reacting after the latest CPI print, particularly the service inflation stickiness. Despite some initial jitters, it seems to be holding up, suggesting demand concerns might be less prevalent than supply constraints, or perhaps just a general market resilience. I'm keeping an eye on the $CL_F futures closely, looking for conviction either way; seems like the market is still digesting the implications for future rate hikes versus overall economic activity.

I think everyone's overthinking the CPI impact on crude. It's more about global supply dynamics than anything else. Demand destruction hasn't really kicked in yet in a meaningful way.
