Watching WTI after recent CPI print

The latest CPI numbers, showing stickier inflation than anticipated, have me re-evaluating the demand side for crude. Still watching $WTI around its recent highs, curious if this adds more structural support or if rate hike concerns cap upside.

It's a fair point on demand, but I'm not convinced a single CPI print fundamentally alters the crude outlook that much. There's still a lot of global supply/demand dynamics beyond just domestic inflation.

Good point on the structural support vs. rate hike concerns. I'm wondering if a persistent higher inflation narrative might also embolden producers to maintain discipline, which could provide another floor for prices even with demand headwinds.
