Watching CAD ahead of manufacturing data

The $CAD has been flat today at 95.879, which feels like the quiet before a storm. With manufacturing PMI data due out tomorrow, I'm keeping a close eye on any positioning. A strong print could finally give it some direction against the majors, especially with oil stabilizing.

The CAD has been range-bound for a while now; it'll be interesting to see if this PMI data actually provides the catalyst everyone's hoping for, or if it's another non-event.

Agree, CAD has been remarkably range-bound. Do you think a strong PMI is already priced in, or is there still room for a significant move?

Even with a strong PMI, CAD's movement might be limited if the market's already priced it in or if oil doesn't follow through. What makes you think this specific print will be the catalyst?
