Thoughts on USDCAD and 1.41 resistance
Been watching $USDCAD bounce around 1.408 for a bit now, and it's starting to feel like 1.41 is becoming a pretty sticky resistance level. If we do get a push through there, especially on good volume, I'd be looking for a potential run up to the 1.415-1.42 area. My invalidation for that short-term upside scenario would be a clear break and hold below the day's low of 1.40567. We've seen it test that floor multiple times today without completely falling apart, so it definitely feels like a key pivot point right now.
Of course, if it does just grind back down and chop below 1.405, then this whole thing was just another head-fake. Wouldn't be the first time I've been fooled by a currency pair that's clearly had too much coffee.
