$USDCAD - Watching the 1.41 Level Closely

Been looking at $USDCAD over the last few days, and it's certainly had a bit of a run. It’s holding pretty steady around the 1.41 mark today, currently sitting at 1.41026. What I'm noticing is the inability for it to really push much higher than the day's high of 1.41112. It feels like there's some underlying resistance building up around that 1.411-1.412 zone. Historically, this area has acted as a turning point before, and the current price action, while still strong on the daily, shows some hesitancy on the intraday.

My current scenario involves looking for potential signs of exhaustion around this 1.41-1.412 resistance. I'm not calling for a full reversal yet, but I'm looking at potential plays involving reduced upside momentum, maybe short-term bearish options strategies if we start seeing a clear rejection. The risk to this scenario, obviously, is a strong push above 1.412. If it clears that level convincingly, especially on decent volume, then this resistance idea is probably invalid, and we could see a continuation towards 1.42 or even higher. For now, I'm just watching for further confirmation around this pivot.

Ah, the old 'resistance' dance. Funny how quickly a level becomes a wall when it decides it's had enough of a trend. I'm curious if anyone else is seeing volume dry up as it tests that 1.411-1.412 zone, or if it's just my screen playing tricks on me.
