USDX steady, but the underlying narrative might be shifting on rate cuts

USDX around 25.505 this morning, not much movement day-over-day, but the subtle shift in Fed commentary regarding the pace of rate cuts is starting to feel more concrete. It’s making me eye $EURUSD for potential shorting opportunities if the dollar can hold these levels and gain some more traction on hawkish Fed comments.

That's an interesting take on EURUSD. I've been watching the dollar closely too, and I agree the Fed commentary has been shifting. Are you looking at any particular technical levels on EURUSD for that shorting opportunity, or just waiting for more confirmation from the Fed?

The Fed's 'hawkish' comments feel like a moving target lately. Are you looking at specific data points that suggest the dollar can sustain a rally, or just betting on the rhetoric holding up?

The dollar's recent stability could be deceiving. "Subtle shifts" in Fed commentary have often proven to be more noise than signal. I'd be cautious about shorting EURUSD purely on hawkish speculation without clearer data to back it up.
