Scaling up forex trades: how do you manage the psychological jump?

Been demo trading $EURUSD for months, small live for a bit now, but scaling up position size seems like a mental wall. Any tips for getting over that fear of increasing risk, beyond just 'stick to your plan'?

I've found it helps to scale up very gradually, maybe 10-20% at a time, and maintain the same risk percentage per trade. That way, the increase in potential loss feels more manageable.

Ah, the classic 'it's only real money when it's my money' dilemma. Maybe just remind yourself that you're not actually losing money, you're merely 'donating' it to more experienced traders? Helps with the existential dread, sometimes.
