Scaling up CFD position sizes: how do you manage the psychological shift?

Been trading CFDs for a few months now, mostly on forex pairs like $EURUSD and $GBPUSD, with a small fixed lot size. My win rate is decent, and I'm seeing consistent, albeit small, profits. I feel ready to scale up my position sizes, maybe doubling them to start.

My concern isn't so much the technical aspect – I understand the impact on potential profit/loss. It's more the mental game. When the PnL swings are larger, even if still within my overall risk comfort, I find myself second-guessing entries/exits more, or staring at the screen for too long. For those of you who've successfully scaled up from micro to standard lots, how did you handle that psychological shift? Did you ease into it, or just rip the band-aid off?
