Lesson Learned: Not respecting the daily close on $EURUSD
I had a trade on $EURUSD last week where I was looking for a break higher, and it looked like it was setting up nicely intraday. My mistake was not giving enough weight to the daily candle close, which ended up being a pretty strong rejection candle from that level. Instead of waiting for confirmation on the next day, I held through, thinking the intraday momentum would carry it. Ended up getting stopped out the next morning for a decent loss. Should have cut it or at least tightened the stop at the end of the day when that rejection printed. Live and learn, I guess.
Definitely been there. It's tough when the intraday action looks so convincing but the higher timeframes are telling a different story. Good reminder to always respect those daily closes.
