On-chain metrics and their actual utility

It often feels like some on-chain metrics, while fascinating, are more a justification for a pre-existing bias than a genuine leading indicator. We track whale movements, exchange flows, and various 'signals' for $Y, currently around 847.79, but are we really getting an edge, or just more noise to filter? Change my mind.
