On-chain metrics for ETH — useful or just noise?
Been looking at some of the on-chain data for $ETH lately, especially around network utilization and exchange flows. There's a lot of talk about how it can give an 'edge' beyond simple price action or even TA. But honestly, it feels like a lot of the time, the narrative around what the data should mean is created after the price move, not before.
For example, we're hovering around $1877.63 right now, and I've seen takes interpreting this as both accumulation based on whale movements and distribution based on exchange deposits. It just makes me wonder if we're all just trying to fit the data to whatever bias we already have. Thoughts? Am I missing something fundamental here?
