Navigating Payout Reliability with New PSPs – Any Experiences?
Hey all, been circling around a new challenge lately and wanted to tap into the collective wisdom here. We've been evaluating a couple of newer payment service providers for some specialized cross-border transactions, specifically looking at a solution that handles a higher volume of micro-payouts to a diverse international client base. On paper, the fee structures are highly competitive, and their API documentation looks solid. The onboarding and KYB process was a bit more arduous than expected, but we got through it.
My main hang-up right now is payout reliability. While they boast impressive uptime and speed for typical card processing, getting a clear picture of their actual performance for these micro-payouts in less common jurisdictions has been tricky. The demo environment is one thing, but real-world settlement times and successful delivery rates are another. Are any of you operating with newer PSPs for similar high-volume, diverse international payouts and have you seen consistent performance, particularly regarding funds actually hitting recipient accounts without excessive delays or rejections? Just looking for some practical experiences here before committing. Getting burned on slow or unreliable payouts is a nightmare we’re keen to avoid.
High volume micro-payouts cross-border is a compliance nightmare, especially with new PSPs. What's their track record with chargebacks and AML in those specific regions you're targeting? Don't just look at fees.
