Navigating Payout Reliability with New PSPs
We've been vetting a few new payment service providers lately to handle increased volume, particularly for some non-traditional asset classes where client onboarding and KYB can be a real drag. One recurring concern that keeps popping up in due diligence is payout reliability and settlement times, especially for larger sums. It's one thing to see the stated SLAs, another to experience the actual flow of funds when the market moves.
Has anyone here had recent, direct experience with a PSP that truly delivers consistent, timely payouts without significant operational overhead or unexpected holds once volume scales? Specifically interested in how they handle weekend settlements or the transition of funds across different banking holidays. We're trying to minimize any potential capital lock-up that could impact our liquidity management for a few key positions. There's a fine line between robust compliance and unnecessary friction.
