Serious Issues with Payout Reliability from Newer Payment Processors

Anyone else finding that a lot of the newer, 'innovative' payment processors, especially those targeting crypto-related businesses or alternative asset classes, are just absolutely awful on payout reliability? We've tried a few over the last year, attracted by what looked like competitive fee structures and promises of faster settlement. The onboarding was relatively smooth for most, KYC/KYB not too bad. But when it comes to actually getting funds out, it's a constant battle. Holds for 'security reviews' that drag on for weeks, opaque communication, and then the money eventually arrives but nowhere near the promised timeframe. It's impacting our liquidity planning significantly. Are we just picking the wrong ones, or is this a widespread issue with smaller, less established PSPs? Any recommendations for stability over speed promises would be appreciated, even if the spreads are slightly wider. I need certainty, not aspirational timelines.
