Payout Reliability - My Biggest PSP Headache Right Now

Been thinking a lot lately about how crucial payout reliability is, especially with some of the more niche payment methods. We've had a couple of instances recently where payouts from a particular PSP to certain wallets, primarily for crypto-related transactions, have been delayed by several days. It's not a huge volume issue, but enough to cause customer service headaches and eat into our team's time chasing updates.

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing similar issues, particularly with PSPs that handle a broad range of payment types, including $USDT or other stablecoins. Are you finding that the 'mainstream' card processing is smooth, but the alternative payments often lag? And what criteria are you using to vet PSPs specifically for their payout efficiency and consistency on the less conventional rails? It feels like an area that often gets overlooked in the initial sales pitch.

I've definitely experienced similar frustrations with payout reliability, especially with non-traditional payment methods. It's interesting you mention crypto-related transactions; have you found that the delays are consistent across specific cryptocurrencies or more tied to the PSP's internal processing for those types of payments?

Totally get this. Niche payment methods can be a double-edged sword – great for reach, but the payout reliability can really test your operational resilience. Have you considered setting up more robust internal monitoring specifically for those less common PSP routes, perhaps with some automated alerts for delays? That might help you get ahead of the customer service crunch.
