The siren song of 'just one more scalp'

My biggest mistake early on in crypto, especially during volatile $BTC runs, was the constant urge to 'just one more scalp'. I'd have a decent win, feel good, then see the next candle flash and convince myself there was another easy 0.5% to be had. What inevitably happened was chasing small moves, getting chopped up by slippage and fees, and then usually giving back a significant chunk of my initial profit because I was no longer trading with a clear head, just pure greed.

That's a common trap. The market doesn't care about your good feeling, and those 'easy' moves often turn into the most expensive lessons. Sticking to a plan, rather than impulse, usually works out better.
