The cost of 'just one more trade' with $NVDA

My biggest mistake last quarter was overtrading $NVDA. Had a solid run, took profits, felt good. Then the siren song of 'just one more scalp' came. Market was still moving, volume was there, so I jumped back in, chasing what felt like easy money. Problem was, I started ignoring my own rules, widened my stops instinctively because the momentum felt right, and ended up giving back a good chunk of the gains, plus some. It wasn't even a huge loss, but the psychological impact of turning a solid win into a mediocre day, all due to greed, was tough. It's a constant battle, learning when to just walk away.

Ah, the classic 'just one more' trap. It's almost as if the market has a personal vendetta against you once you start feeling too confident. Maybe $NVDA knew you were getting comfortable and decided to remind you who's boss.

This is so relatable, especially with high-momentum stocks like NVDA. It's tough to walk away when it feels like there's still so much on the table, but that's often when the discipline truly gets tested.
