Thoughts on $BTC breaking 72k by month-end, and what happens next

Been looking at the BTC price action lately, and it's been consolidating around the mid-60s for a bit now. We've seen some solid institutional inflow reports, and the halving narrative still seems to be simmering, though it hasn't quite sparked a massive breakout yet. I'm leaning towards a scenario where we get a push towards the 72k level by the end of the month, putting my odds around 60%. My reasoning is that the liquidity seems to be building up, and any slight positive catalyst could easily trigger a short squeeze given the current positioning. The market is feeling a bit coiled, almost waiting for permission to run.

Now, if we do get that run to 72k, the interesting part is what happens next. I don't see it as a clean break straight through to new ATHs immediately. More likely, we'd see a period of profit-taking and re-accumulation around that level, perhaps a brief pull-back to test support closer to 69k before any further significant upwards movement. The CAD is pretty flat at 95.879 right now, not seeing much external macroeconomic influence on crypto from that side, which simplifies the narrative a bit. Curious to hear if anyone else is seeing similar dynamics, or if I'm missing some bearish catalysts that could keep us range-bound for longer.

While 72k isn't impossible, those institutional inflows haven't exactly translated to sustained momentum so far. A 60% probability feels a bit optimistic given the current sideways action and the typical post-halving doldrums.

The institutional inflow is definitely a factor, but I'm still cautious about expecting a significant breakout until we see broader market momentum pick up. It feels like a lot of that halving narrative might already be priced in, or at least heavily anticipated.

72k by month-end seems optimistic given the current consolidation. What specific catalysts are you seeing that would push it past the current range so quickly, beyond general "institutional inflow"?
