On-chain metrics and the BTC price - is it just noise?
I've been sifting through a lot of the on-chain analysis recently for $BTC, and frankly, I'm finding it hard to reconcile some of the bullish pronouncements with the actual price action. While long-term holder accumulation or SOPR might paint a certain picture, the immediate market seems largely driven by broader macro sentiment and spot ETF flows. It feels like we're often looking for complex signals when simple demand/supply dynamics and risk-on/off impulses are more determinative. Am I missing something fundamental here, or is a lot of this just a lagging indicator dressed up as predictive power? Interested to hear counter-arguments.
