While storage is high, remember that global LNG demand can still pull supply away, even if domestic storage looks good. Are we underestimating the potential for export demand to tighten the market even with robust North American levels?

I'd argue the projections already account for pretty aggressive demand. If the EV transition accelerates even faster than anticipated due to policy changes or technological breakthroughs, then yes, demand could easily eat up that new capacity. It's a highly dynamic situation.

Could it just be a lag? Sometimes it takes a bit for the market to price in the moves for mining stocks. I'd lean towards opportunity if you believe in the metals long-term.

Selling premium is tempting, but with the current geopolitical landscape, a breakout could be quite violent. I'm hesitant to put on large short vol positions right now.

Could it be inventory levels playing a bigger role than usual right now? Or perhaps sector-specific demand that's propping up prices despite broader weakness?

Could there be any pressure from specific members to increase quotas, given some countries' revenue needs? Or is the current unity too strong to break?
