Onboarding for a New Prop Firm: Due Diligence on Payouts

Considering jumping into a new prop firm that's been making some noise, primarily for their attractive profit split. The evaluation phase looks standard enough, but the real question always comes down to payout reliability once you're funded. Are we still seeing the usual song and dance where getting actual cash out of these places becomes an exercise in patience and endless KYC requests, or have things improved on the industry side? Don't want to get stuck in a situation where I'm trading well but the withdrawal process makes me want to pull my hair out trying to access funds I've supposedly earned.
