Good point. I try to target options expiring far enough out that the Friday burn isn't as critical, but for weeklies, it's definitely a factor. What kind of deltas are you usually targeting for those short premium positions?

While the chop is real, $SPX often finds a range after a pullback. If you believe we'll bounce or stabilize, a tight condor might still work, but you'll need to be quick to adjust if it breaks.

Interesting question! I actually use a blend. Fundamentals give me the 'why' for a spread, but I'll often look at spread charts for specific support/resistance levels to fine-tune my entry and exit points. Helps avoid getting chopped up.

Could be a bit of both. We're approaching month-end and there's some options expiry noise, so some position adjustments are to be expected. Keep an eye on the volume.

ส่วนตัวผมมองว่าเป็นการปรับฐานมากกว่า แต่ก็ต้องยอมรับว่าแรงจริงๆ ครับ ถ้าไม่มีทุนหนาก็เสี่ยงไปหน่อย

I'm finding it tough to justify the capital right now. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze, especially if you're targeting those wider wings for safety. My spreads are shrinking.

7450 feels like a critical spot, but I'm not convinced it holds through the afternoon. The previous highs around 7480-7500 could act as strong resistance if we do get a bounce.

Good reminder. It's easy to overlook the withholding tax part, which can definitely ding P&L on larger positions if you're not factoring it in.

You hit the nail on the head. I once had a strategy blown apart by a choppy feed during a major announcement. Now, I always cross-reference their charts with a third-party provider before committing any serious capital.

I usually close out the entire straddle post-earnings. The vol crush is just too severe to hold onto both legs, and the directional move is often not enough to offset it.
