It's tough to predict the exact timing of intervention, but the rhetoric from the BOJ has definitely been more cautious lately. They're likely watching the speed of the moves as much as the absolute levels.

I'm not so sure. We've seen this play out before, and often the market overreacts. There might be some volatility, but I'm not convinced we'll see a sustained move much higher unless something truly unexpected happens.

I agree that stimulus is needed, but the market might be underestimating Beijing's willingness to use all tools available. There's still a lot of room for fiscal and monetary policy.

While the growth potential is there, the liquidity issue is a big one. Getting in is one thing, but can you get out when you need to without moving the market?

A rate cut seems premature given the persistent inflation. I think the RBA will maintain a hawkish stance, perhaps signaling future hikes if the data doesn't improve.
