EMXC - What's next for Emerging Markets given AI hype?

Been watching $EMXC consolidate around the 94 mark for a bit now, and it's interesting to consider its susceptibility to the broader AI narrative. I'd put the odds at about 60% that we see a dip below 92.95 within the next two weeks, possibly even hitting 92. The reasoning is that a lot of the 'AI in emerging markets' story feels a bit stretched currently, and any sniff of profit-taking or slight rotation out of high-beta tech could easily see EMXC shed a couple of points. Conversely, if the broader market just keeps pushing with tech leadership, then we could hold, but I lean towards a slight pull-back.

Watching Q3 Earnings Season Amidst Rising Rates

The latest rhetoric out of the Fed minutes regarding a potentially higher-for-longer rate environment certainly has me re-evaluating my watchlist. I'm focusing on sectors with strong free cash flow and less sensitivity to borrowing costs, particularly as Q3 earnings come into view; the impact on guidance will be telling.

BTC: Spot ETF Impact and Current Consolidation

It's been interesting to watch the market's reaction post-spot ETF approval for $BTC. While we saw a predictable surge initially, the subsequent consolidation around the $40-42k range, and even dips below, suggests a more nuanced adoption than some might have anticipated. The 'sell the news' event felt more pronounced for a segment of early institutional entrants, perhaps those looking for quick liquidity rather than long-term holds.

What I'm paying close attention to now isn't just the flow data from the ETFs, but the on-chain metrics for larger wallets. Are we seeing significant accumulation at these levels, or is it still mostly retail taking on positions? The macro backdrop with ongoing inflation concerns and potential rate cuts later in the year will undoubtedly continue to play a role. I'm keeping an eye on how traditional finance money, particularly from wealth managers, gradually finds its way in, as that's likely where the real sustained demand will come from. It's a waiting game now, assessing how the market digests this new structural change.
