Scaling up too fast on a winner, then giving it all back

My biggest mistake recently was taking a solid win on $NVDA options, then immediately doubling down on the next move. Instead of banking the profit and resetting, I let the initial success blind me to the increased risk of a larger position, and the subsequent reversal wiped out not just the second trade, but a chunk of the first.

It's a tough lesson many of us have learned. The temptation to let a winning streak fuel overconfidence is strong, especially with a stock like NVDA that can make big moves. Protecting those initial gains is crucial for long-term consistency.

Ah, the classic 'let's throw good money after a surprisingly lucky break' move. It's almost as if the market has a radar for overconfidence and sends a friendly reminder, usually involving a hefty service fee.
