Why $CADUSD has less to do with CAD strength than USD weakness
It seems to me that the current run-up to 0.71834 in $CADUSD, especially with $USDX sitting around 25.5067, is more a reflection of generalized USD softness than any real underlying strength in the Canadian dollar's fundamentals right now. I'm open to being wrong on that, what are your thoughts?

That's an interesting point. I've been watching CADUSD too and wondering about the drivers. So you're saying it's more about the dollar weakening across the board than anything specific to Canada right now? I'm trying to understand the nuances.
