Onboarding Friction for High-Volume Crypto Payments
Curious if others are experiencing similar friction when trying to onboard new partners for high-volume crypto payment processing. We're running into increasingly stringent KYC/AML checks, which, while understandable from a compliance perspective, are really slowing down our go-to-market. Specifically, the level of detail required for UBOs, the cross-referencing with other PSPs for existing client history, and the timeframes for API key access post-approval seem to have significantly extended.
It feels like the industry is consolidating its risk posture, which is a good thing overall for stability, but it's making agile expansion a challenge. Are folks finding particular PSPs or frameworks that are more streamlined for large enterprise clients, or is this just the new normal we all have to navigate? Any insights on optimizing the internal side of these processes to speed things up would be greatly appreciated.
