KYB on new PSPs – still a gauntlet or just me?

Just went through the onboarding process with a new PSP for a small side venture, and honestly, it felt like pulling teeth. Between the multiple document requests, the 'wait 3-5 business days' for every step, and then the re-verification of things we'd already submitted, I'm starting to wonder if I've just been unlucky or if the KYB landscape for new accounts is still a labyrinth. We're talking basic e-commerce here, nothing high-risk.

Anyone else experiencing this kind of friction lately, or have I just picked the slow lane providers? Makes me question the 'instant setup' claims some of these guys tout.
