Onboarding speedbumps with new payment processors

Anyone else finding that the KYC/KYB process with some of these newer payment processors has gotten significantly more cumbersome lately? It feels like every time we try to integrate a new provider to handle specific alternative payment methods or regional payouts, we hit unexpected delays, often related to seemingly minor document requirements that then snowball into weeks of back-and-forth. It's really eating into our go-live times and frankly, frustrating for everyone involved.

Definitely seeing this too. The regulatory landscape has shifted, and while it's understandable they need to be diligent, the execution of the KYC/KYB process often feels unnecessarily convoluted, especially for established entities. Have you found any particular providers to be more streamlined than others?

We've seen similar issues. It seems the compliance burden has just shifted, not actually decreased, for many of these newer solutions.

Absolutely, it's not just you. We've experienced similar delays, especially with newer fintechs that promise streamlined services but then have extremely rigid and slow KYC teams. It makes me wonder if their internal processes haven't scaled with their ambitious onboarding targets.

We've definitely experienced similar frustrations. It seems the compliance landscape has tightened, leading to more granular requests, especially for cross-border transactions. Have you tried pushing back on the 'minor document' requests to see if an alternative could be provided, or if the requirement could be waived given your existing compliance history?
