Prop Firm Payouts and Liquidity for Large Accounts

Anyone else finding that once you scale up with these prop firms, especially after hitting five or six figures in hypothetical profit, the payout process starts to get... slow? Or worse, the spreads suddenly widen on you when you're trying to execute bigger clips, making the hypothetical trading conditions less and less like true market depth? It's easy to pass a small challenge on a demo, but when real capital starts being requested for payout, the backend infrastructure seems to buckle. Curious if it's just my experience or if others are seeing this friction when the numbers get serious. Is it simply a liquidity issue for them, or something more fundamental about how these firms operate at scale?

It's a common complaint. Many firms seem to have issues with scale, which often reveals itself in execution problems or delayed payouts once real money is involved. The incentive structure for passing challenges versus actual trading might be part of the problem.
