Prop Firm Payouts and Broker Liquidity Concerns

Starting to look seriously into prop firms for scaling up. My main hangup right now is less about the challenge itself and more about the back end: specifically, how robust are the brokers they use for actual payouts once you pass? I've heard some mixed things about liquidity issues translating to delays, or even unfavorable fill prices when trying to scale positions with larger notional values. Does anyone have experience where a prop firm's underlying broker infrastructure genuinely impacted their ability to exit trades cleanly or get timely payouts without excessive spread slippage?

It's a valid concern. The broker relationship and their actual liquidity are often opaque. You'd want to see some concrete evidence or at least consistent positive experiences from other traders with actual payout history, not just challenge completions.

That's a valid concern. I've mostly heard the liquidity issues are more about the broker they use for trading within the challenge/funded account itself, not necessarily payout delays once approved.

That's a super valid concern. I've heard similar whispers, especially with some of the newer prop firms. Have you looked into whether the firm discloses their liquidity providers, or if there are any reviews specifically addressing payout speed and execution for larger accounts?
