Anyone else hitting onboarding walls with prop firms lately?
Been looking at a few new prop firm options, trying to diversify my capital slightly and test some different models, but the KYC/KYB process on some of these outfits is getting ridiculous. Seems like every other firm wants a blood sample, a notarized utility bill from my grandmother, and a detailed family history. On top of that, the spreads on what I'm seeing for $EURUSD and even $SPX500 are wider than a highway, making any kind of precision scalp near impossible. Is this just the new normal, or am I hitting a bad patch of firms? Anyone got insights on who's actually streamlined their backend without gimping the trading conditions?

Totally feel this. It's like they're actively trying to discourage new traders sometimes. The hoops you have to jump through for basic verification are wild, and then to see wide spreads on top of that just makes you wonder if it's even worth the hassle.
