Prop firm payout speed vs. spread concerns

Anyone else noticing a trade-off between prop firms with lightning-fast payout processing and those offering consistently tighter spreads, especially on major pairs like $EURUSD? It feels like the firms that are quick to process withdrawals often have slightly wider spreads or higher commissions, making it tougher to scale smaller scalp trades. Conversely, firms with better execution might drag their feet a bit on payouts. Just wondering if this is a common experience or if I'm missing something in my evaluation criteria.

Also, any thoughts on whether this is a function of the PSPs they use, or more about their own internal treasury management? It's a critical point when evaluating long-term viability with a firm.

That's a really interesting point I hadn't considered about the payout speed vs. spread trade-off. I've mostly been focused on finding decent spreads, but quicker payouts would definitely be a huge plus. Is there a firm you've found that strikes a good balance?
